Prayer and Fasting

We warmly invite you to take part in our monthly prayer and fasting. For the month of April, it will be held on Saturday April 27th, 2024 led by our intercessory team and everyone is welcome to join. Our fasting starts from daybreak to evening or daybreak to noon. Please always be aware of your health issues as you fast and do not fast if not recommended by your health care team.

Now on this day of fasting, we will dedicate our time to in praying, reading the Word and listening to God. We will seek God’s divine powers in the implementation of our vision and plan, and in our quest for breakthrough! While we will be praying together, the fast will also allow you to seek God’s guidance and direction on what He would have you do as a member of St. Clair Avenue Baptist Church. This is a time for you to discover how God wants to use you to influence others for the Kingdom of God.

Remember to humble yourselves before the Lord and:

1. Thank God for this new month of April
2. Thank God for the miracles of healing we experienced!
3. Pray for the ability to live as a devoted follower of Christ
4. Pray for His guidance and direction on your understanding of your purpose
5. Pray for our unsaved friends and family members.
6. Pray for our sick members (see the Prayer Corner listing)
7. Pray for our community

Later in the month, we will announce the meeting place and time to conclude our fast with prayers.
